In agriculture the main products are: potatoes (7th largest producer), beet (sugar), wheat, barley, and other grains. In livestock, the most prominent creations are cattle, pigs, goats and poultry. Mining activity produces, especially natural gas, coal, copper, gold, silver and sulfur. The industrial sector is involved in the production of electrical machinery, automobiles, chemicals, food and beverages.
